Our mission statement is that we want to inspire our current and next generation to create innovative ideas that will help evolve the EV industry.
About UW EVolution

UW EVolution is a student design team that consists of dedicated students from the University of Waterloo and Lambton College. We compete in the Battery Workforce Challenge (BWC) which is a three-year competition that has the mission of creating, testing, and incorporating an innovative electric vehicle (EV) battery pack. Our team was formed in September 2023, along with 10 other North American competing teams. As the competition progresses, we will be extensively working on designing an EV battery pack for a Stellantis cargo van.

This is a multi-disciplinary project that attracts many students interested in acquiring hands-on experience in the rapidly expanding EV industry. Our team is committed to delivering an innovative design that significantly improves the usable energy and operating temperature range of the battery pack.

Our mission is to create safe, efficient, and competitive HVBS solutions for the electric vehicle industry while developing a skilled workforce through immersive, hands-on experiences within the Battery Workforce Challenge.
